While it is a routine procedure, it does require dedicated training, skilled operators and specialist equipment and for many of our clients, the investment required prohibits them from doing this work themselves.

DV Howells provides the perfect solution. We are able to mobilise equipment and manpower throughout the UK at short notice to process sludges and waste streams from a wide variety of sources including fuel and oil tanks, sewers, slop oil tanks, deballast tanks and waste pits.

Increasingly we use powerful and precise washing heads that minimise the need for potentially dangerous man entry into tanks, reducing risk and improving Health and Safety. This method in combination with our oil/waste separation systems allows us to offer a total tank cleaning and oil recovery package, thereby reducing the total cost to you.  Where manpower is still required, DV Howells teams are BA trained for confined work entry and possess over 30 years’ experience.
