DV Howells Ltd - New Chemical Response Vehicles

One of DV Howells Ltd’s new dedicated chemical incident response vehicles. These new vehicles are based in Bristol, Stansted and Huddersfield replacing the Sprinter vehicles which are now coming to the end of their useful life.

Each vehicle has on board all the usual equipment and due to the greater carrying capacity, two chemical transfer pumps (1 x Stainless steel and 1 x Kynarr) with 5 lengths of Danflon ptfe lined hose. Each vehicle also has a full tanker rollover kit with bath and can carry several salvage drums and spare IBC’s.

The new vehicles also have separate and fully equipped incident control rooms at the front of the box section. Inside is a computer with Chemdata and other chemical response databases, full Internet and email access for MSDS etc. Access to our incident control software AIMS through a client server and also a 3 in 1 printer scanner fax copier machine.

All in all a formidable chemical response vehicle taking DVH to a new level of response for the coming years.
